The mission of MacArthur Blvd is the Great Commission, which we paraphrase as leading people to trust and follow Christ. When we say that this is the mission of MacArthur Blvd, we are talking the PEOPLE of our church family. This is your mission and mine. We are the church, and each one of us plays an important role in this mission. We all have different gifts, different assignments, and different roles, but we are all working together toward the same mission.

If we are going to be a people who faithfully fulfill our God-given mission, we must manifest the three characteristics we see in the life and ministry of Paul: dedication, urgency, and belief. We must be dedicated to the mission—every member burdened and focused on our assignment. We must proceed with urgency—every member eager to minister the Gospel to all people. We must possessbelief that the Gospel has the power to transform hearts and lives.
