Description:
“I just do not understand my wife!” This is one of the most common complaints men have of their wives. And yet, Peter’s call to husbands in 1 Peter 3:7 is to treat their wives with understanding. Since the Bible is sufficient to equip us for every good work, and since loving your wife is a good work, husbands have all the understanding they need in God’s word to treat their wives in a manner that honors God.

What is at stake? Men, your prayers will be hindered when you fail to treat your wife with this understanding. God will not engage in intimate communion with you until you address how you are treating His daughter. Treat your wife with understanding. Understand her value. Understand her vulnerabilities. Understand her identity.
