Our Mission, Values & Method

We believe Jesus gave the Church its mission in Matthew 28:18-20. Therefore, the mission is universal and unchanging for every local church. This mission is holistic, beginning with leading people to trust Christ initially through Gospel proclamation and then leading them to follow Christ through biblical teaching and exhortation. Our own paraphrase of the Great Commission is the mission statement for our church.

Our Mission: The Great Commission

Leading people to trust and follow Christ.

Our mission statement clarifies what the church is called to do.

Our Values

We will be Biblically transformed, not simply informed.

We will seek the Spirit’s presence, not rely on our own ability.

We will pursue gospel unity, not just diverse appearances.

We will strive for authentic gospel relationships, not settle for superficial friendliness.

We will gauge success by our sending capacity, not our seating capacity.

Our Method: The Discipleship Pathway

Discipleship Pathway

Equipping people to live a life of WORSHIP, a life in COMMUNITY, and a life on MISSION.

Our discipleship pathway clarifies the method for how our church accomplishes the mission.

Life of Worship

Worship: Responding with all we are—mind, emotion, and will—to the revelation of God

How we equip people to live a life of worship

Worship Gatherings at 8:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

We are passionate about engaging in worship that reflects not only our community, but also the kingdom of God with all its generational and ethnic diversity. This passion leads us to sing songs that will move both the minds and hearts of all ages and ethnicities.

We also have a high view of God’s word, believing it to be our ultimate authority and sufficient to provide everything we need for life. Therefore, our preaching is text-driving and typically walks straight through books of the Bible.

Equipping Classes

We offer Equipping Classes on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. to help equip the saints to follow Christ in every area of our lives.

Life in Community

Community: Participating sacrificially in each other’s lives

How we equip people to live a life in community

Community Groups
We have Community Groups that meet on our church campus on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45a.m.
& we have Community Groups that meet in homes across DFW throughout the week.

We have Children, Students, Men’s, Women’s, Singles, Married and Multi-Generational groups available to join. Community groups are where you find meaningful Christian relationships of mutual encouragement, help and admonition. Children attend Community Groups on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 a.m. while their parents either attend an on-campus Community Group or an Equipping Class.

Discipleship Groups are gender-specific groups of 3-5 that meet weekly to equip you to grow deeper in your walk with Christ. Groups meet at various times in different locations and use a Bible reading plan to guide their weekly discussions. These groups equip you to connect relationally, study God’s Word, pray for one another, and hold one another accountable.

Intergenerational Community

God designed His church to possess intergenerational community (Titus 2:1-8). Generational diversity is a mark of a healthy church. More than simply attending together, we seek to cultivate meaningful relationships across generations.

Partnerships and Trips

We provide various opportunities throughout the year to engage the lost through local initiatives and short-term mission trips. These opportunities not only provide specific opportunities to engage missionally but also equip our people to live a life on mission every day.
