Equipping Classes

Sundays at 9 a.m.

At MacArthur Blvd, we believe theological education belongs in the local church and that we are tasked with passing on the “faith once for all delivered to the saints,” (Jude 1:3). To this end, MacArthur regularly offers adult Equipping Classes that provide in-depth teaching on a variety of topics related to our faith, such as doctrine, Christian living, and much more.

Choosing a Class

Whether you’re new to the faith or have been following Christ for many years, there’s a place for you in our Equipping Classes. Each class is designed to help you grow in your knowledge of God’s Word, deepen your love for Christ, and equip you to faithfully serve His church.

All Equipping Classes meet Sundays at 9:00 a.m., providing an opportunity to study God’s Word together before our corporate worship gathering.

Current Classes

Ecumenical Creeds & the Baptist Faith and Message

A 13-week study for everyone. We will be walking through the early church creeds and talking about how those creeds protect and articulate church doctrine. We will also be walking through the Baptist Faith and Message to gain a better understanding of what we believe the Bible teaches on major Christian doctrine.

Our Covenant-Keeping God (Women Only)

A 13-week bible study for our women. This study focuses on uncovering the glory of God as the covenant-making, covenant-keeping lover of humanity. From Adam’s fall to Christ’s ascension, we will dive deep into Scripture to discover how God has chosen to covenant Himself to His people throughout history and what it means for us to live in the New Covenant.
