It is an honor, privilege, and responsibility to serve the Lord through the local church, and we desire for every member to find his or her place to serve. Explore the opportunities below, then pray to discern where you might serve.

Greeters – Offer a friendly welcome to people as they arrive. [Sunday mornings, rotating schedule]

Next Step Desk – Offer information to answer questions or provide directions. [Sunday mornings, rotating schedule]

Coffee Bar – Help make coffee, and manage the coffee bar on Sunday mornings. [8:15–9:00 a.m. or 10:00–10:45 a.m., ideally 1x/month]

Ushers – Men & women who welcome and assist people in finding seats in the Sanctuary. [10:30 a.m., rotating schedule]

Baptism – Make sure that all necessary baptismal equipment and facilities are available and ready prior to each baptism and perform necessary clean up. [as needed] 

*Community Groups (Birth–Pre-K) – Provide a loving and secure environment for preschoolers and teach simple Bible truths. [Sundays, 9:00–10:15 a.m.; weekly]

*Worship Care (Birth–Pre-K) – Care for children during the service. [Sundays, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m., once every other month (6x/year)]


*To serve in one of these areas, the vetting and placement process includes a Safety Application, Background Check, and Child Protection Training prior to serving.

Prayer Partners – Pray with individuals as they respond to the message at the end of service. [Sundays during the service, rotating schedule]

Wednesday Prayer – Pray with our church family on Wednesday evenings at 6:30, Student room.

Screens Operator – Run slides during service. [Sundays, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m., rotating schedule]

Livestream Operator – Set up and operate livestream for service. [Sundays, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m., rotating schedule]

Front of House Sound TechMix and run sound board during the service. [Sundays, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m., rotating schedule]

Choir – Sing and help lead the congregation. [special holidays, about 3x/year]

Band – Play an instrument (piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, strings, bass or drums) as part of the music team. [Sundays, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m., 1x/month]

Church Communications TeamAssist with graphics, website updates, social media, photography, and/or videos and media. [flexible, as needed]

*Community Groups (K–5th) – Encourage children to develop Christ-centered relationships through The Gospel Project curriculum and prayer. [Sundays, 9:00–10:15 a.m., weekly]

*Worship Care Buddies (K–5th) – Support children in our special needs ministry with personalized care, helping them feel safe and engaged while their families worship. [Sundays, 10:20 a.m.–12:00 p.m., 1x/month]

*AWANA (3-year-olds–5th) – Lead a grade-level group, run games, or serve as a mission leader. Help kids memorize scripture while discovering how to live a life on mission. [Sundays, 5:00–6:30 p.m., weekly August-May]

Landscaping Team Maintain flower beds and make plant suggestions. [flexible, as needed]

Safety Team Provide a safe environment for members and guests to gather. [Sundays a.m./p.m., and as needed, ideally 1x/month]

IT Team Assist with technical needs of the church. [flexible, as needed]

Facilities Ministry Work with the staff to maintain the building and grounds. [flexible, as needed]

Community Groups – Lead adults to trust and follow Christ by ministering the word to the group and lead them to live in community together. [weekly, day and time varies by group]

Senior Adult Care Team – Regularly contact select Senior Adult members who are unable to attend a Community Group to assure they are physically, emotionally, and spiritually well. [flexible schedule]

Prayer Partners – Pray with individuals as they respond to the message at the end of service. [Sundays during the service, rotating schedule]

Compassion/Benevolence – Serve as a Compassion Counselor or a Financial Coach. Work as a team to provide short-term assistance with long-term spiritual and financial freedom. The goal is that each candidate will know the Lord and walk faithfully with Him and understand Biblical stewardship principles. [as needed] 

*Student Ministry – Be ready to engage at Overflow, the primary way to connect with Students. Assist with programming and small groups. [Sundays, 5:00–6:30 p.m., weekly August-May]

*Student Host Homes – Host events, Bible study or provide food for certain events. [as needed]

*Event Driver – Drive students to events. [as needed]
