Women’s Ministry

We aim to be a diverse community of women that delights in God first as we develop and deploy every woman to make disciples who make disciples. The Women’s Ministry organizes events throughout the year to help you on this journey.

BOOK STUDY

Sundays @ 9:00 | Feb.22 – May 10 (except for Mother’s Day)

We will be walking through the book, “Ten Words to Live By: Delighting In and Doing What God Commands”, by Jen Wilkin. This book presents a fresh biblical look at the Ten Commandments, showing how they come to bear on our lives today as we seek to love God and others. Our conversations will be led by Sharon Daniels, Joelle Allen and Bonnie Bolander. We hope you will make plans to join us!

COMMUNITY GROUPS

If you are not yet connected to a Community Group, we have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, which you can explore here. If you are interested in a womens-only group, which meets at Thursdays @ 6:30 p.m., please reach out to ktayne@mbbcirving.org to get connected.

WOMEN’S COLLECTIVE

The Women’s Collective is a night that women of all ages are invited to come together to listen to a speaker or panel regarding a specific topic and engage in the conversation. This is a great time to invite friends, neighbors and coworkers into the community of women at MacArthur.

If your child is not attending Awana, or is 2 years old or younger, you can request childcare. Register Here

Sunday | March 1 | Grief in the Midst of Loss
When life does not turn out as we expect, we often grieve what we have lost, whether that is a job, a relationship, a dream, health, financial stability, or a loved one. Grief is unpredictable and unique for everyone. We will discuss tools to help us move forward when life looks different than we imagined.

Sunday | April 26 | Floral Arrangement Design
Jan Baker will lead us in creating our own floral arrangements. We will have vases for you to choose from or you can bring your own. We will have flowers and other supplies available to create your arrangement. We are asking for a $5 donation to help offset the cost. Please register for this night so we have adequate supplies. We hope you will join us for a fun night of fellowship, learning a new skill, and taking something beautiful home with you!

HANDYMAN MINISTRY

We have a group of men from MacArthur who have offered to help with various projects for widows and single women within our church as needed. If you have a need for something around your home and would like to see if our church family can help, please reach out to Linda Phillips or contact the church office at info@mbbcirving.org or call 972-373-9833.
