This Sunday Pastor Josh will preach the second part of a message he began a couple of weeks ago titled, “Exposing Humanity.” In the first message, we saw how suffering reminds us that, unlike God, we are weak, dependent, and needy people. Even young men grow weary and faint. As humans, we are completely dependent upon the Lord in every aspect of our lives.
This week, we will see three things God provides His people when they find
themselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually drained: (1) physical refreshment, (2) His presence, and (3) other people. Prepare for Sunday by going back and reading the Elijah narrative again from 1 Kings 19. See if you can identify these three provisions in Elijah’s circumstance.
