This Sunday we will continue our journey through the book of Ruth by examining 4:1-17. The key theme of this chapter is redemption. We will learn about the four R’s of redemption: Relationship, Rescue, Ransom, and Restoration. Redemption flows out of a relationship, rescues someone from a dire circumstance, always costs a ransom, and always brings full restoration. Prepare for this Sunday by reading Ruth 4. Can you identify all four elements of redemption within this story? Meditate on how these elements of redemption apply to your relationship with God through Christ.
