Jesus continues His sermon in Matthew 7:21-23 by warning his disciples that there will be many who go through life, claiming to be Christian, thinking they are Christian, but do not know the Lord. Prepare for Sunday by prayerfully reading this passage. According to Jesus, where does assurance that you know the Lord come from? What are the people whom the Lord denies eternal life to at the end of the age relying on for salvation in this passage?
